COVID Updates & Procedures

Amy and Sifen are back in the salon! If you had an appointment with either of them while we were closed, you should have received a call or email that we are ready to reschedule your appointment. If you feel as though you were missed, please give us a call and we will get you taken care of. 
Cydney will be returning on June 2nd! We are in the process of contacting all her clients now to reschedule.
Ester is in the process of working with her daycare to secure childcare and therefore, not yet accepting appointments.

If you had an appointment, we will reach out to you as soon as we are ready and able to reschedule it!

Our online booking is temporarily closed while we get everyone taken care of but will soon be open to the public! There will also be an online waitlist you can add yourself to as well. As soon as it’s open, we’ll make an announcement.

We have also completely restructured our service options to better serve you! Our services are now much more specific so that we can schedule more accurately and keep things running smoothly as we are also building in time for extra sanitation. You will now see options based on your hair type (Fine, Medium, Thick) as well as new options such as ‘Dry Curl Re-Shape + Refresh’ (for returning clients only), ‘Makeover Cuts’ and ‘Transition Cuts.’ At this time we will not be offering blow drying (diffusing), but will use the hooded dryer when needed. There are also several new procedures in place to stay within the CDC’s guidelines and keep everyone safe. 

When You Arrive for Your Appointment:
1. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your appointment time. 
2. Call us from your car when you arrive and we will prompt you to answer a screening questionnaire. 
3. You will then be contacted when it is safe to enter the salon for your appointment. 
4. It will be greatly appreciated for you to arrive at your scheduled time. There will not be extra time to accommodate due to the need to follow directed stagered times and appropriate social distancing.
5. Please arrive to your appointment ready with all questions and inspiration pictures. This will enable us to proceed in a timely and efficient manner with your services.
6. Please only bring into the salon your absolute necessitates (no purses, please). We’ll be asking that you hold them in your lap.
7. When you enter the salon, we will guide you through the rest of your experience that you have so eagerly anticipated!

Guidelines We Will be Following Inside Ambushed Salon:
1. We know everyone really loves our coffee, snacks and drinks, however we will not be able to supply beverages/snacks at this point in time. Please bring what you will want to enjoy while you are enjoying your time with us!
2. Please do not bring additional guests to your appointment. Exceptions will be made for an adult accompanying a minor or an individual with special considerations requiring assistance. Please let us know when booking if this is the case.
3. If you require special accommodations due having high risk needs, contact us for time frames available for scheduling. Examples would be older individuals, health concerns, physical challenges, etc.
4. Everyone entering the salon will be required to wear a face mask at all times. We ask that you please be prepared with your own mask. We will do our best to have some extras on hand for purchase, but they will likely be very limited.
5. Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer when you enter the salon. We will do the same before and after every client. 
6. When you require to visit the restroom, please ask for assistance from your stylist or desk staff. We are there to ensure the room is clean and sanitary for your safety.
7. Be assured that our work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized for each arriving guest. Including all essential tools and cutting capes.
8. 6 feet of distance between guests and staff will be observed except during our service.
9. If you would like to purchase product, please let us know what you would like to get and we will assist you to limit the handling of retail items. Only designated staff will handle the product bottles. 
10. Even though we will not be offering blow dry style services at this time (temporarily), we should be able to offer air drying under the hooded dryer. This does not apply to services for dry curl shaping cuts. Of course when things settle down a bit, they will be added back into expected services.
11. Unfortunately, we will not be set up with extra time to add on additional services outside of what is booked. Only the service scheduled for will be provided.
12. Please come with your curls properly prepped for your service. This will help us immensely. Please have hair detangled, dry and defined, small amount of product, hair down and free from buns, braids or ponytails. This is especially for all dry curl shaping, but please do so for all services. 
13. For now, we will be only accepting credit card payments. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay for a no-touch option.
14. If you are feeling unwell, please contact us to reschedule. Your health, as well as our staff and other clients, is our top concern.

If Stopping By To Purchase Product:
1. Please call or email us with your order ahead of time.
2. We will have you pay for it over the phone or send you an invoice.
3. When you arrive, give us a call and we will meet you at the door with your products!
